Police are searching for the driver of a red Chevrolet Cruz after a road rage incident reported Wednesday evening in Perth East.

The incident took place around 5:30 p.m. on Perth Road 119, south of Gads Hill, Perth County OPP said.

According to investigators, the Chevrolet was being driven dangerously when its driver stopped in front of another vehicle, got out and threatened the other motorist. The person of interest then got back into the Chevrolet, intentionally reversed into the other car, and fled the scene, police said.

No injuries were reported.

The Chevrolet’s driver has been described as a roughly five-foot-nine Black man with a slim build, who possibly had a beard and/or facial tattoos. He was wearing a black jacket and dark coloured pants, police said. The Chevrolet may have damage to its rear end, police said.
